The 1989 Ford F-150 is part of the seventh generation of Ford's F-Series trucks, which was produced from 1987 to 1991. This truck has been in the same family since it was originally purchased in 1989 from Pollock Ford in Gadsden, AL. It has only ever been registered in Alabama.
Passing down through three generations, this 1989 F-150 has recently undergone a complete restoration (see details in "Installed Equipment"). The Original Title, Sales Paperwork, Ownership Card and Warranty Card are included with this truck.
This 1989 F-150 is available with the original 5.0 V8 EFI Engine. It also has the original 4-speed automatic transmission (recently rebuilt by PTC in Muscle Shoals), and the original interior which has been restored. This F-150 is a 2WD with a 1.5" Rough Country Level Kit, and has been paired with 16" Ulta Bullet Hole Rims and LT285/75R-16 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT E Tires.
The Interior is upholstered in Scarlet Red Cloth which went with the XLT Lariat trim level. It has operational dome light, reading lights, center fold down arm rest on the bench seat, power windows, power locks, AM/FM/Cassette Stereo, air conditioning and heat.
The seventh generation of the F-Series trucks featured a more modern and aerodynamic design compared to its predecessor. Depending on the specific model and region, there might have been special editions or packages available, such as the XLT Lariat trim.
The F-Series trucks, including the 1989 F-150, are known for their durability and longevity, and this F-150 is no different. Many enthusiasts appreciate the simplicity and ruggedness of these trucks.
